You will be aware that attendance figures are monitored by the Local Education Authority during the school year. The Welsh Assembly Government expects attendance of 95% for each child.
Thanks to many of you, we have seen excellent improvement of our overall school attendance, but it is important for you to know your child’s attendance for your records.
Every Friday the attendance for each class is checked for that week. The winners receive the ‘Best Attendance’ trophy and keep it for a week.
