Happy New Year! Obviously we are not starting the year the way we had planned or hoped we would be. However I will continue to provide weekly tasks for your child to complete on Class Dojo, any additional ideas will be posted here. There will also be our Monday and Friday live check in sessions on Teams at 10am. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you need any other support.

We're continuing with our The Detective Dog topic this week. It was great to see everyone's work on Friday! Well done all!
This week we'll write a new detective story, take our own fingerprints, solve mysteries and generally hone our detective skills!

Welcome to our wonderful class. We have 11 fantastic children (8 boys and 3 girls) and 4 staff.
Every child is unique and special and all our children have different talents.

We have been learning about Africa. Here are some of the activities that the children have enjoyed taking part in.
"I liked making African cookies" - Nerrissa.
"I liked doing African dance" - Joseph.
"I liked making Zimbabwe cookies. We used sweet potatoes as one of the ingredients" - Louis.
Clayton could name all the countries that make up Africa!!!!! "Victoria Falls is in
Zimbabwe" - Clayton.
"We had visitors from Uganda, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Some of them are studying in Swansea University. They told us a story about a rabbit and a
baboon" - Jay.
"We have started making African masks" - Juwairiah.
