• Meet the Worker - Aspire To Be

  On the afternoon of June 6th 2018, we held our annual 'Meet the Worker' event. This is an opportunity for year 5 and 6 to meet different people from various work professions and environments. 

   

  This year the following jobs were represented:

  • Police Officers
  • Librarian
  • Nurse
  • Chef
  • Potter
  • Firefighter
  • ICT Programmer
  • Midwife
  • Childcare Worker
  • Sports Therapist
  • Community Workers
  • Footballer
  • Make-Up Artist
  • Doctor
  • Electrician

   

  This is their chance to ask about what the jobs include as well as what route they had to complete including training and courses. 

   

  We hope the children are given ideas for that they want to work towards in their future.
