Hello and Happy New Year to you all! I hope you are all well? 

The following is a list of activities for this week:

 

Let's start the day with a song! Can the children join in with the action and words?

Counting: Find a dice in your house. Roll the dice, how many spots can you count? Can you find that many... anything you can find in your house, e.g. lego blocks, bits of pasta, building blocks, etc. 

To extend this activity, use two dice!

Have a hunt around the house... what can you find that starts with the letter 'm'? Collect the items and send me a photo!!

After listening to the story Oliver's Vegetables can you draw Oliver? What pattern was his top? What colour was his top? What colour hair has he got? I would love to see photos of your work!

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all well and enjoyed the beautiful weather during 'half term' This week would of been Empathy Week in school. Empathy Day is on June 9th. Have a look at the Empathy Lab website in the attachment to see what is going on. Have a listen to some of the stories on there!

After listening to some stories or read some of your own why not play a game of emotion snap. Can the children name the emotion cards? I would love to see some photos!

Academic Year 2019-20

 

Welcome to the Autumn Term! Our theme this term is 'Bright Lights and Remember, Remember.' Our focus books are Snuggle Up Tight and 'Wow' said the Owl. We will be looking at non-fiction texts about light and dark. We will be starting to look at letter sounds and what letters are in our names. In mathematics we will enjoy number rhymes and reciting numbers to 10.  

 

Weekly reminders:

Monday: PE day - joggers / leggings to be worn please. If possible, can children wear shoes they can take off and put on themselves.

 

Wednesday: 'Stories to share' and 'homework' books returned

 

Friday: New 'Stories to share' and 'homework' books sent home

Our focus rhymes are Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer. We are enjoying learning our phonics and are beginning to form letters.  Learning to recognize and write our names is our big focus this term.

Welcome to Nursery AM!

 

Hi all, welcome to the Nursery class page. We are a busy class and enjoy lots of different activities inside and outside the classroom. This term our topic is 'A rainbow of colour'. We will be reading 'Wow, said the Owl,' 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear' and 'Elmer' stories.

 

We have started to learn our sounds using the Read Write Inc programme. We do a sound a week and this gets sent home for homework. 

 

Snack money is 50p a week
