Welcome to Nursery!

At Clwyd, we want every child to feel safe, happy, valued and excited to come to school each day. Our experienced and caring staff recognise that every child is unique, and we are committed to making the beginning of their school journey a happy, positive and memorable experience — one that both children and families will look back on with fondness.

We take the time to get to know each child, carefully tuning into their individual needs, interests and personality. With genuine care, affection and encouragement, we create a warm and inclusive environment where every child can feel confident, supported and ready to learn.

We believe that children learn best through play. Our Nursery provides a wealth of exciting experiences both indoors and outdoors, allowing children to explore, discover, create and develop at their own pace.

As enabling adults, we follow children's interests, provide the right support and resources, and gently extend their learning and thinking. Above all, we want every child to feel that Nursery is a happy place where they belong, have fun and love learning!

Nursery Hours

Mornings - 8:50am - 11:20am

Afternoons – 12.50pm – 3pm

Snack Money

Snack time is part of our routine in Nursery. The children enjoy sitting with friends and it helps develop their social interaction and communication skills. Please feel free to send a healthy snack into school daily for your child, alternatively please send in £1 per week and we will provide one for them.

Class Dojo

Please check ClassDojo regularly for class updates, important information and photographs. It is a great way to keep up with what your child has been learning and enjoying in class.

Please make sure that all of your child's clothing and belongings are clearly labelled with their name. This helps us to make sure everything finds its way back to its owner!
