🧸 Learning Through Play

In our class, we like to learn in lots of different ways and have fun! We love exploring sensory and messy play and will often be in our outdoor provision.

We are also very lucky to have access to our soft play and sensory rooms, which the children can enjoy as part of their daily provision.

👕 School Uniform

There is an expectation that all children wear school uniform:

• Royal blue jumper
• White or yellow polo shirt
• Black trousers, joggers or leggings

As we love exploring, getting messy and learning through play, it is always a good idea for children to have spare clothes in school.

🥾 Wellies & Outdoor Clothing

Please send a pair of wellies into school for your child to keep here. We use our outdoor provision regularly, so having wellies available means the children can enjoy outdoor learning whatever the weather.

Please also ensure that your child has a spare change of clothes in their school bag every day.

🏷️ Naming Belongings

Please make sure that all of your child's belongings are clearly labelled with their name. This includes clothing, coats, bags, wellies and spare clothes.

🍽️ Lunch

Children can choose between a school dinner or a packed lunch.

All children are entitled to free school meals. Termly school dinner menus can be found on the Homepage of our school website.

If you would like your child to have a school dinner, please send us a message via ClassDojo.

💬 ClassDojo

We use ClassDojo as our main means of communication with families. It is a great way for us to:

• Share photographs and celebrate your child's learning
• Keep you updated with class news and important information
• Communicate with parents and carers
• Let us know if your child is going to be absent from school

Please check ClassDojo regularly so that you don't miss any important messages or updates.

We look forward to working together with you and your child in Maple Class
