This term we will focus on ourselves and the world around us (including seasons).

We will explore these topics through real life experiences and a sensory/physical based curriculum. We will have lots of opportunities to get creative and use the outdoors.

In class we have dedicated work areas, where we can focus on our targets and specific skills.

Each week will take part in cooking, swimming and Rebound Therapy, using the big trampoline. We also have access to the soft play and sensory rooms daily.

Hi everyone. I hope you're all OK.

I've prepared activities / work for this week.

1. MATHS
On the BBC Bitesize website, under 'daily lessons' there are a series of Maths activities for this week. I will message you what level your child is on. These are quite clear and hands-on, so if you get a chance please have a go with your child. You can simply do one activity and practice that skill during the week, or you can do a lesson a day. Just judge how your child is finding it.

2. TOPIC
Our new topic is 'Cool Stuff'. The children can make a poster on J2e (HWB) showing what is cool/interesting to them. I'll post a video on how to do this today.

3. TIME CAPSULE
This is more of a thinking task, so don't feel pressure to get your child to write all of it. The writing can be shared. You could chip away at it as and when.

HAVING CHILDREN AT HOME 24/7 IS A CHALLENGE! THESE ACTIVITIES ARE JUST HERE SHOULD YOU GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH YOUR CHILD. PLEASE DON'T FEEL PRESSURE TO DO EVERYTHING!

General Information for Home Learning

Home Learning March 2020!

ASDJ 2018-2019!

Welcome to Mr Brown's class!

We have a great class of 9 boys and 1 girl. They range from Y3 - Y6. We all have unique personalities and talents.

We make learning as visual and 'real' as possible. We also practice our social skills and go on regular class visits. We try and do everything with a purpose.

The staff are: Mr Brown, Mrs Morgan, Mrs Murdich and Ms Podmore.

Academic Year 2018-19

We've had a good start to 2019. We started off by taking part in Porpoise Week. The children did well applying their Porpoise Skills in a range of activities. Since then we've got stuck into our topic Water World. We've also celebrated Welsh Week and played in the Super Teams Football League!
