Inclusion

Clwyd Community Primary School is a fully inclusive school.

We have five Specialist Teaching Facilities (STFs)

Willow and Hazel classes are situated in the down stairs corridor and cater for children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) between 3 – 11 years old.

Maple and Cherry Blossom are also situated in the downstairs corridor and cater for children aged between 3 - 11 years old with Social Communication and Learning Difficulties (SCLD).

Our fifth STF (The |Bridge) is designated to provide places for pupils who will be dually registered with their main school as a two-term intervention. This is for pupils with Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) and is a secure unit on the downstairs corridor.

The overall aim of the Specialist Teaching Facilities in Clwyd School is to provide a nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to develop educationally, socially and emotionally so that they become better equipped to deal with everyday life situations.

Children will integrate into a full range of school activities where appropriate. These include: playtimes, assemblies, PE, school trips and concerts.
