A very warm welcome to Reception! We are looking forward to a fun-filled year of learning.

🌈 Our Topic – “It’s Good to Be Me!”

This term, our topic is “It’s Good to Be Me!” with a focus on Humanities.

Through our learning, the children will have lots of opportunities to explore all about themselves, their families, their communities and the world around them. We will encourage children to develop their confidence, independence and understanding of what makes each of us unique and special.

🏃 PE

PE is on Wednesdays.

Please ensure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for PE.

🍎 Healthy Snacks

Children should bring their own healthy snack each day.

🥾 Wellies & Outdoor Learning

Please send a pair of wellies into school for your child. These will be kept in school so that we can make the most of our outdoor learning and play.

🏷️ Please Label Clothing

Please make sure that all of your child's clothing is clearly labelled with their name. This includes coats, jumpers, shoes and any other belongings brought into school.

🍽️ School Meals

All children are entitled to free school meals you can find the current menu via the link on the school website homepage.

Please use ClassDojo to keep up to date with class news, updates and photographs. It is a great way to see what your child has been learning about and have been doing in class!
