The Donaldson Report focuses on developing children as:

- ambitious, capable learners, ready to learn throughout their lives

The Four Porpoises

The school has adapted the Purposes in to the characters of four Porpoises. We then plan all the work around the four Porpoises and we have a book to illustrate how they contribute to our learning.


Amber - Ambitious and Capable

Ethel - Ethical and Informed

Heath - Healthy and Confident

Richie - Enterprising and Creative

Our school values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
